PTA
This society is organised and run by the parents, the aim being to raise funds for the school. They meet on the first Tuesday of each month during the school year at 7.00 p.m., usually in the Blue Ball pub. Anyone wishing to help in anyway is asked to contact the school. The PTA has organised a variety of events including KS1 & KS2 Discos, the Year 6 Leavers' Disco, and more recently a popular Fashion Show to name but a few.
The PTA has grown into an important part of school life making a real difference through their fund raising activities. Over the last few years this group has purchased many items for the school including, a state of the art school stage for assemblies and concerts, digital cameras, large play equipment for the Foundation Stage, computers, printers and technology trucks for the children. They have also equipped the school garden, and funded the Year 6 leavers T-Shirts The PTA also funded a KS2 dance day. In the pipeline is a whole school Skipping Workshop, music stands to be used for assemblies and concerts, and the purchase of sports wear for the school sports teams.
This year the PTA have donated over £7,000 to school. Please continue to support them.
The Summer Fair and Christmas Fair are the main fund raising events and the PTA play a very important part in the organisation of these. This years' Christmas Fair was the most successful to date and raised in excess of £3,300.
